Brent & Kevin (Auckland, New Zealand)

July 2023

If you want to discover and learn about the wonderful city of New Orleans, look no further. We did a 2-hour tour with Paul on our first day. So glad we did as it was a wonderful introduction to the city and a great orientation, which enabled us to return at our leisure to points of interest close to our hotel. Paul took us through the French Quarter, Jackson Square, Garden District, Metairie Cemetery and City Park. His commentary on each area was interesting and informative.

We so enjoyed our time with Paul that we booked him the next day to take us further afield to Houmas House and gardens, the swamp boat tour and Oak Alley plantation. We spent most of the day together. Paul gave us a detailed history of the various places we visited. Paul was more than happy to stop so we could take photos. He also provided a page of helpful tips and suggestions for some great restaurants and sights to see.

So, what sets Paul’s tours apart from others? Firstly, the man himself. Paul is personable, friendly with a great sense of humor. By the second day it felt like we were out driving with a friend. Paul’s knowledge of his city is incredible and there wasn’t any question he couldn’t answer. Tell him what you want to do and see, and he will make it happen. He made our trip to New Orleans very memorable.

What Our Customers Have To Say!
About Your Tour

One of the first things I recommend you do in New Orleans is TAKE A TOUR! This will acclimate you and help you understand New Orleans. I designed my NOLA BIG 4 tour to do 3 things for my guests: First, my tour is Fact-Based and comprehensive, designed to educate you about the history, culture and people of this unique city. This is NOT a ghost tour. The day I am able to contact a ghost and introduce them to you will be the day I start giving ghost tours. Second, we will visit the (French Quarter, Garden District, City Park & Metairie Cemetery) 4 of the 74 official neighborhoods in New Orleans. The French Quarter is considered the heart and soul of the city but, I will bring you out of the French Quarter to explore 3 other areas of the city that most people don’t even know exist. Finally, within a couple of hours with me, you will be armed with valuable information to effectively plan and maximize your stay in this over 300 year old crown jewel I call home, NEW ORLEANS!
